Jessie S. Orr

Jessie S. Orr, age 44, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in Ocean Springs.

Mr. Orr was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast most of his life. He was a 1999 graduate of D’Iberville High School, where he played football. Mr. Orr was employed by the City of Biloxi for 10 + years. He also worked for the City of Flowood before getting injured on the job. Mr. Orr enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The way he took care of everyone, especially his wife, nieces and nephews, was a testament of the amazing man he was. Boy did he love watching his LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints play! He was the most patient, loving and gentle man and he will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Edna Orr; his sister, Michelle Orr; his niece, Brittany Orr; and our beloved four-legged children, Tiny, Hayleigh and Gidget Orr.

Mr. Orr’s survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Kristin L. Orr; his brother, Robert (Tammy) Orr Jr.; his in-laws, Deacon MJ (Darlene) Landry; his brothers-in-law, Joseph (Jillian) Crump and John Brad Jones; his sister-in-law, Lauren Landry-Jones; his nieces and nephews, Taylor Orr, Bobby Orr (Josie Blackwell), Sophia and McKenna Jones and Ganyn, Peyson and Sutton Crump; and his great-nephew, Braden Orr. He also has many friends and family that will miss him dearly.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Fr. Godfrey Andoh, Deacon MJ Landry and our parish family at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church. Dr. Paul Pavlov and North Bay Family Medical for all the years of love, compassion and care throughout his life. 

A Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until Mass time.
