Jimmie Cecil Copeland, Sr.

Jimmie (Paw Paw) Copeland, Sr., 77, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Jimmie was a loving father and friend to many, who loved to hunt and fish when he wasn't taking care of his family. He loved his wife, Amelia Copeland, for almost 53 years. He was known to many as "Paw Paw" and around town as the :"Crab Man". He will be loved and missed always. Rest in Peace "Paw Paw" we love you. Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Malcom and Louise Beasley Copeland and a daughter, Sally Copeland. He is survived by his wife, Amelia Copeland; children, Peggy Brundrett, Melisa Dunkin, Alicia Stokes, Adeline Hernandez, Jimmie Copeland, Jr. all of Ocean Springs, Greg W. Copeland of Gulfport; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 6501 Palfrey St., Ocean Springs, MS 39564 from 10:00 a.m. until. We ask for no flower arrangements. It will be a BBQ in his honor as were his wishes. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
