Jimmy Davis

Jimmy "Rootbeer" Davis, 63, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005. Mr. Davis was a lifelong resident of the coast and a graduate of Biloxi High School, class of 1959. He was formerly employed with Barq's Bottling Company and also worked with Coast to Coast Coating Company as a superintendent. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Davis, Sr., step-father, Ray Levell, and former wife, Joyce E. Davis. He is survived by his mother, Anna Tina Levell, three daughters, Angie Jimerson of Latimer, Gina Lehman of North Biloxi, Joyce Marie Darty of Ocean Springs, and one son, Jimmy Davis of North Biloxi. He also has 8 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday March 28, 2005 from 12 pm until 1 pm with Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm all held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi, MS. Burial will follow to the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
