Jimmy Joseph Wilkerson

Jimmy Joseph Wilkerson, 63, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, in Gulfport. A native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, he attended school in Biloxi and worked off-shore. He was an avid reader and loved popcorn. He was a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin J. and Annie Richards Wilkerson, and a sister, Josephine Wilkerson. Survivors include four sisters; Frances Ann Cutten, of Lake Park, GA, Lois Ann Phelps, Ida Mae Simmons, and Dean Oliver, of Biloxi; two brothers, Eddie Wilkerson and Johnny Wilkerson, of Biloxi; an aunt, Lea Porter, of Niceville, FL, a special friend of 30 years, Louise "Pepper" Hall; numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial service is 5:30 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2007, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi with visitation one hour before. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Friday at Biloxi City Cemetery.
