Jo Ann Hansen

Mrs. Jo Ann Hansen, age 67, of Vancleave, MS., died Thursday, December 28, 2006, in Vancleave. Mrs. Hansen was a longtime resident of the coast and a member of the First Baptist Church of Vancleave. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Franklin and Eva Jones Adams and a sister, Regina Dean. Survivors include her husband, Donald Gilbert Hansen, Sr. of Vancleave, MS., a daughter, Sherry Lynne Carrero of San Antonio, Texas, two sons, Jeffrey Scott Hansen of Harrah, OK. and Donald Gilbert Hansen, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006, from 6-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, January 1, 2007, there will be a 2 PM chapel service at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Melville, LA. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Melville, LA. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Salvation Army, 3217 Nathan Hale Avenue, Pascagoula, MS, 39581.
