Jo Ann Myers Sturtevant

Jo Ann Myers Sturtevant, 75, of D’Iberville, MS died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in D’Iberville. Ms. Sturtevant was a native and lifetime resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral. Ms. Sturtevant was retired from Bell South and she worked as a PBX Operator for the I.P. Casino Resort. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Edna Blanchard Myers; and her grandson, Upton Alfred David. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Donald) Draper of Perkinston; her sister, Brenda Mareno of D’Iberville; her grandchildren, Clayton Edward (Jill) David of Pass Christian, Eric Joseph (Daphne) David and Jeremy Joel David, both of Gulfport; three great-grandchildren, Makala, Luke and Noah; and her nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. A Memorial Mass will be held at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
