Jo Shirk

Mrs. Jo Shirk, 60, of Biloxi, died Saturday, September 30, 2006 in Biloxi. Mrs. Shirk was born in Butler, Alabama on April 8, 1946 and had been a longtime resident of the Coast. She attended Huntian College and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Jeff Davis Campus and was employed at the Biloxi VA Center for over twenty years. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Shirk is survived by her parents, Arman and Margaret Jacobs of Butler, AL; her husband of 31 years, Darryl L. Shirk of Biloxi; her son, Todd Darryl Shirk of Jackson, MS; and her brother, Arman Jacobs, Jr. of Butler, AL. Services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
