Joan K. Fellows

Joan K. Fellows, age 77, of Gulfport, died Monday, March 2, 2009 in Gulfport. Mrs. Fellows was born in Baltimore, MD and was a resident of the Gulf Coast for over 30 years. She was a past member of the Krewe of Gemini, American Legion Auxiliary, La Femmes Cabane 251, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and the Retired Enlisted Association Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary P. and John A. Killian; son, Bruce E. Merrill; sister, Mary Adele Gore; grandson, Christopher A. Kennedy; and grandparents Mary L. and William B. Dorsey and William H. and Clara Killian. Mrs. Fellows is survived by her husband, Al Fellows of Gulfport; three daughters, Holly C. Salois (Roger) of Gulfport, Marguerita M. Kennedy of Gulfport; and Debra A. Acosta of Kansas; two sons, H. Wayne Merrill of Kawasaki, Japan, and Paul E. Merrill (Liza) of Fountain Hills, AZ; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
