Joan Siemeck Reading

Joan Siemeck Reading, 62, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Ocean Springs.

Joan was born August 31, 1962 to Loretta Juraszek and Richard Siemeck. She was a loving person - always friendly to everyone. Joan worked at the VA for 36 years. She was a diabetic since she was 14 years old and was on dialysis. Joan had a hard life but never complained. Now she is at peace. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward Juarszek and Veronica Tirpak, Edmund and Constance Siemeck, Opal Peterson and Billy Joe Reading; her Aunt Geraldine Juraszek; her brother-in-law, Clyde Reading; her Uncle Edward L. (Corky) Juraszek, and Jim Lawrence; and her cousin; Susan. 

She is survived by Billy Reading, her husband of 33 years; her mother, Loretta Siemeck; her two children, William Richard and Ana Kathryn Reading; her Uncle Andrew (Irene) Juraszek, Aunt Rose Siemeck, Aunt Keiko Juraszek and her Aunt Barbara Lawrence; and her cousins, Kathy, Ann, Carol, Eddie, Steven and Jim.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
