Joan T. Tapper, 79, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in Poplarville, MS.
Joan was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of B.P.O.E. Ladies Auxillary, St. Theresa and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Churches. Joan was a friend to all, THE FAMILY "ROCK". She was brutally honest but loved her family unconditionally.
Preceded in death by her husband, Clinton T. Tapper, Sr., her parents, John O. Lively, Jr., Susanne Garcia Lively and sister, Mary Hedgecoth.
Survivors include her sons, John (Jackie) Tapper, Sr., of Biloxi and Clinton (Sonja Jordan) Tapper, Jr., of Poplarville, daughter, Patricia Tapper (Lonnie) Hebert of Ocean Springs, grandchildren, John, Jr., Shane, Garrot, Joey, Emma, Jenna and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Mallory, Cayman, Morgan and Tristan, brothers, John O. Jr. and James L. Lively of Biloxi, sisters, Florence Garner of North Carolina and Jane Glavan of Saucier.
Funeral Services: Friday, October 31, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. Interment: Biloxi City Cemetery.
