Joann Mary Jumonville Nichols

Mrs. Joann Jumonville Nichols, age 82, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Sunday, April 27, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Nichols was born and raised in Biloxi and was a graduate of Biloxi High School. She was retired from civil service and was Catholic by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Malsby Jumonville and Rosalie Davis Baria. Survivors include her son, Charles Venus, Jr. of Gautier, MS., two sisters, Blanche Pitalo of Ocean Springs, MS., and Madge Heitz of Fort Thomas, KY., and a brother, Marsby (Buddy) Jumonville of Perkinston, MS. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 1, 2008, from 10 AM - 11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
