Joe F. Bourn

Joe F. Bourn, 88 of Biloxi, MS passed away Friday, August 18, 2006. Mr. Bourn was born January 5, 1918 in Bogalusa, LA and had been a longtime resident of the MS. Gulf Coast. He was preceded in death by parents, Rev. & Mrs. Frank Bourn; two brothers, Hurston and Jesse Bourn; two sons, Rev. Charles Bourn & Rev. Joel Bourn; daughter, Deta Bourn Bourriague, and great grandson Dillon Jones. He was a loving father and a faithful servant of First Pentecostal Church of Biloxi which he attended regularly until his recent illness. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mildred “Bibbie” Bourn; son, Rev. Jerome Bourn of Houston, Texas; daughter, Shirley Dunaway of D’Iberville; sister, Timie Lambert of Ponchatoula, LA; twenty grandchildren; thirtyseven great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at First Pentecostal Church of Biloxi, 1907 Popps Ferry Road. Friends may visit from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, August 20th, services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held Monday August 21st at 1:00 p.m., Jayess, MS The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
