Joeanne Phillips

Mrs. Joeanne Hannah O'Bryant Phillips, age 75, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Sunday, January 10, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Phillips was a devoted housewife and companion to her family and husband and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Phillips and two sons. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Phillips and her companion, Kali Degrassi of Oakland Park, FL., sister, Martha (Jerry) Hosey of Sulpher, LA. and their children, Robin and Steven, and a brother, George "Sonny" (Rebecca Jo) Ladner. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 16, 2010, from 11 AM - 12 Noon, with a 12 Noon Memorial Service at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. Burial will be in the family plot at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the church at 401 Holcomb Blvd., Ocean Springs, MS. 39564. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
