Joel H Lafferty

Joel H. Lafferty, age 77, of Pass Christian died Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Pass Christian. He was born in Fillmore, New York and was a resident of the Dedeaux Community for about 30 years. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Merchant Marine and also retired Civil Service at the Armed Forces Retirement Home. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux and a member of Knights of Columbus Dedeaux Council. Mr. Lafferty was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Dixon Lafferty; a daughter, Angela Joann Lafferty; and a son, Eddy Duwayne Lafferty. He is survived by a sister, Della Lafferty; two brother, Carl Lafferty (Judy) and Bugsy Lafferty; and a son-in-law, Gregory Jenkins. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 11, 2015 at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 A.M.
