John A. "Stoney" Stone

John A. "Stoney" Stone, 74, of Biloxi, MS passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in Biloxi. Mr. Stone was a resident of Biloxi for the past 40 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Stone was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Clara Stone; brother, Harry L. Stone; and first wife; Ann K. Stone. Survivors include his wife, Frankie Stone; sons; Glenn Stone and Dale Stone; his only granddaughter, Marina "Sweet Pea" Stone and her mother, Troie Roy; grandsons, Keith Roy and Christopher Roy; sisters, Lydia O. Rensch and Sarah J. (Jim) Liebold; brother, Carl E. (Wynnette) Stone; stepchildren, Terri Cox and Georgianna Dorch; and step-grandchildren, Wesly and Ashley. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 1:00 pm ~ 2:00 pm with a 2:00 pm chapel service all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 12:30 pm.
