John Bernard "J.B." Fallo

John Bernard “J.B.” Fallo, 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, July 24, 2009. J.B. was born September 7, 1921, in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School and Delgado Business College in New Orleans, Louisiana. He served in the Coast Guard. He served several years as Harrison County Deputy Sheriff in the 1960s. He owned Interstate Battery of Fernwood from 1968 to 1984, when he retired. He was a member of Sunkist Country Club and a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge 606. J.B. attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. J.B. had a zest for life and was a joy to be around. He loved tending to his crab traps, playing golf with his buddies, playing cards at the Elks, shopping at the farmers’ market and cooking for his family and friends. J.B. is preceded in death by his father, Emile Fallo, Sr.; and his mother, Angelina Diliberto Fallo. J.B. will be dearly missed and eternally loved by his daughter, Carolyn Suarez; son-in-law, Joe Suarez; his granddaughter, Sandi Suarez Anderson; and her husband, Roy Anderson, III; great granddaughter, Heather Gillich; his brother, Emile Fallo, Jr., and his five nieces; four great nephews and one great neice. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Fatima, Monday, July 27, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Biloxi City Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of services.
