Mr. John Carol Decoteau, Jr., age 52, of D'Iberville, MS., died Friday, March 30, 2007, in D'Iberville.
Mr. Decoteau was born in New Orleans, LA., and was a resident of Biloxi since 1969. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #436, and was a former youth sports coach and umpire. Mr. Decoteau was an avid fisherman and a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol John Decoteau, Sr. and Dale LeBlanc Decoteau,a sister, Meredith Cook, and father-in-law, Billy Grady.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Debbie Decoteau of D'Iberville, MS., two daughters, Mandy Decoteau and Jessica (Jamie) Waters, all of D'Iberville, MS., two sons, John (Robyn) Decoteau III of North Carolina and Pete (Heather) Decoteau of Ocean Springs, MS., five sisters, Elsie Raymond, Mildred Oliver, and Laura Albritton, all of D'Iberville, MS., Susan Penton of Vancleave, MS., and Tammy Decoteau of Ocean Springs, MS., a brother, Kyle Decoteau, of Laplace, LA., three
grandchildren, Pete Jr., Kiley and Madison, and mother-in-law, Mary (Clinton) Gill of Greenwell Springs,LA.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, from 11 AM - 1 PM, with a 1 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of BRADFORD O'KEEFE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
