John Battista Cirino

John Battista Cirino, 85, born in NYC, NY, passed away in his home in Gautier, MS on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. John went to Regis High School in New York City, then to New York State Maritime Academy in Fort Schuler, New York. He served in the U.S. Navy then worked for several years at Ingalls Shipyard. After that he worked for the supervisor of shipbuilding as a Naval Engineer until he retired after 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Horatio and Jean Cirino. John’s survivors include his wife of 43 years, Jean Cirino; his sister, Barbara Ross of Long Island, New York; his sons, John D. Cirino, Douglas (Mary) Cirino and Chris Cirino; his step-daughters, Vicki (Kevin) Hardisty and Colletta Hand; his step-sons, Pete Brown and Michael (Jennifer) Brown; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
