CMSgt John Albert “Jack” Cox, 96, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Gulfport, MS.
CMSgt Cox was a native of McKeesport, PA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, as well as the U.S. Air Force. CMSgt Cox was a 33 Degree Mason Scottish Rite of Gulfport and Mobile, AL and a member of The Amaranth, Mobile, AL and the Order of Eastern Star, Long Beach, MS.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Intha J. Cox; his grandson, Larry Gollott; and his brothers, William Cox and Roy Cox.
CMSgt Cox is survived by his wife, Betty D. Cox; his step-daughter, Carolyn (Larry) Gollott; his grandson, Kevin (Chantal) Gollott, his great-grandchildren, Jaimie (Matthew) Tiblier, Gabriella (Trey) Mohler, Isabella Gollott and Tristin Gollott; and his great-great-granddaughter, Canaan Olivia Mohler.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Mobile Court #7, O of A (Memo: Diabetes), Ruth K. Neeley 12404 Moreton Place, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm followed by a 1:30 pm graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
