John David Cannoy

TSgt John David Cannoy, (USAF Retired), 84, of Long Beach, died Friday, October 8, 2010 in Gulfport. Mr. Cannoy was born in Roberts, IL and retired from the US Air Force in 1964. He also retired from the US Post Office. He was a former resident of the Armed Forces Retirement Home and was scheduled to return the the AFRH the day he died. Mr. Cannoy was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Marshall Cannoy. Survivors include his wife, Nadine Stallings Walker of Long Beach; two daughters, Ann (Jim) Will of Austin, TX and Julie (Doug) Osburn of Clear Lake, TX; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service, with full military honors, will be Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:00am at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
