John David Cockrell

Mr. John David Cockrell, 63, of Gulfport, MS, died Friday, June 11, 2010, in Gulfport. Born in Mendhall, he lived on the coast for 25 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and loved to play his guitar and wade fish He is loved and will be missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother. Survivors are his daughter, Pam Cockrell, and grandchildren, Dakota Cockrell and James Taylor of Louisiana. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th St., Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
