Mr. John E. Stojcich, Jr., 79, of N. Biloxi, MS, died Thursday, January 3, 2006, in Biloxi.
Mr. Stojcich was a native and lifelong resident of N. Biloxi. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and retired postmaster of D'Iberville Post Office.
Mr. Stojcich was preceded in death by his son, John E. Stojcich, III; his parents, John E., Stojcich, Sr. and Sophie Quave Stojcich; a brother, Wallace P. Stojcich and a sister, Marcelle Klobe. Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Boney Stojcich of N. Biloxi; two daughters, Betty Roberts and her husband, Alfred, of D'Iberville and Jean Robbins and her husband, Steve, of Woolmarket; one son, John L. Stojcich and his wife, Lisa, of Biloxi; five grandchildren, Eric Robbins, Alan Roberts, Jason Robbins, Dana Roberts and Rachel Stojcich; three great grandchildren, Ethan Hinson, Matthew and Michael Robbins and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 9, 2006, at 12 noon at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi where friends may visit from 10 a.m. till service time. A Rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
In lieu of floweres, the family prefers memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Boulevard, D'Iberville, MS 39540.
