John F. Nicholson

Mr. John F. Nicholson, 72, of Long Beach, MS, died Monday, November 20, 2006, in Gulfport. Mr. Nicholson was born in Detroit, Michigan and had been a resident of Long Beach for 28 years. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Pass Christian, and also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Nicholson was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam. He was a retired electrical engineer with the Naval Oceanographic at Stennis. Mr. Nicholson was preceded in death by a son, Jon Nicholson, and a daughter, Jacqueline Ann Nicholson. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Nicholson; two sons, Kevin Nicholson and his wife, Lea, and Gary Nicholson and his wife, Ellie, and four granchildren, Isabela, Clementine, David, and Jason. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 27, 2006, at 2:30 p.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
