John G. McCarthy, age 48, of Gulfport, died Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Gulfport. He is survived by his wife, Darlene McCarthy and daughter, Marie Nicole McCarthy, both of Gulfport; two sons, Nicholas Adam McCarthy of Seymore, MO and Jesse Lupton of Las Vegas, NV; his parents, James and Margaret McCarthy of Chula Vista, CA ; a sister, Charley McCarthy of Gulfport; a brother-in-law, Jason Stewart of Fordland, MO; his father-in-law, Golden Charles Owen Jackson of Victoria, TX; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Arlene Reed of Fordland, MO; and four granddaughters. The memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit at 10:00 a.m. until the service.
