John Martin Boersema

Mr. John Martin Boersema, 68, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, in Gulfport. Mr. Boersema was born in Belleville, IL, and had been a resident of the coast since 1982. He owned and operated D.J.'s Automotive Repair in D'Iberville, and he was a driver/trainer for John Fayard Systems. He also drove for Deep South Trucking. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of Vietnam with over 20 years of service. He was an avid car enthusiastS and gardener. He also enjoyed traveling. Mr. Boersema is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Clay) Chapman; sons, Douglas (Tammy) Boersema and Brad Garner; sister, Marianne Robinson; five grandchildren, Ashton, Justice, Blaze, Heather and Kayla; three nephews, Larry, Jimmy and Brian; great niece, Brandy and great nephew, Patrick. Visitation is Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 11 a. m. until 12 noon at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 15, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
