John Edward McManus

John E. McManus, age 91, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Biloxi, MS. Mr. McManus was born on June 23, 1927 in New York City, NY to Andrew McManus and Cecelia O’Brycki McManus. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from the City College of New York. Mr. McManus served in the United States Navy for two years. He was employed as an administrative assistant at the United Nations of New York City. He enjoyed traveling to foreign countries with his job and by himself and collecting antiques. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew McManus and Cecelia O’Brycki McManus. Mr. McManus is survived by his sister, Marie Moore. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Bethel Lutheran Church in Biloxi, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service at 11:00 am all at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Biloxi, MS on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Interment will follow at the Swetman Cemetery in D’Iberville, MS. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
