John Pustay

John Pustay, age 88 of Gulfport, MS formerly of Rossford, OH passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 after a long illness. He was born June 10, 1920 in Indiana County, PA to Steve and Theresa (Valkovszki) Pustay. John was a US Army/Air Force Veteran where he served his country during WWII as an aerial engineer. John was an appliance repairman for many years. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed gardening and photography. He was seldom seen without his cameras and his pockets jammed full with pens, pads, bolts, sugar packs, and much more. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn (Hill) Pustay; siblings, Mike Pustay, George Pustay, Theresa Moore, and Helen Radocy. Surviving are his children, Dana (Clarence) Gordon, David (Cathy) Pustay, Terry Pustay, and Tom (Karen) Pustay; sister, Dolly Dobbins. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Burial will be in Ohio. Memorial donations for John may be made to the charity of donors choice.
