Johnny Callegari

Johnny Callegari, age 80, of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Johnny was a longtime resident of the Biloxi/St. Martin area. He enjoyed everything the coast had to offer, especially being on the boat crabbing and mulleting. If you knew Johnny, you know we are going to miss his cooking.

Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Callegari; parents, Merrick and Evelyn Callegari; and sister, Rita Saucier.

Survivors include his daughter, Vicki (Stewart) Smith; son, Jay (Crystal) Callegari; grandchildren, Katie, Shelby, Abbey, and Jackson; great-grandchildren, Owen and Judd; sisters, Ora Lee and Wanda; brothers, Terral and Dunna; and sisters-in-law, Nancy and Theresa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Callegari family.
