Johnny Mack Fleming, age 67, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. He was born in Ruleville, MS on June 14, 1952 to M.M. “Bo Jo” and Cuple Fleming.
Johnny Mack worked in petroleum and construction for over 30 years. He loved life and never met a stranger. Rugby and football were two of his passions. He became a dedicated Ole Miss Rebel Fan at an early age by selling cokes in Hemingway Stadium. His infectious smile and laughter would always bring joy to anyone he was around.
Johnny Mack was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children, Alex Fleming and Chase Fleming; grandchildren, Emma Fleming and Sawyer Fleming; and siblings, Beverly Lacy and Neva Hibbard.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank all the Gulfport Memorial Oncology doctors, nurses, and staff. Johnny Mack was truly blessed to have them in his life and Gulfport Care Center for always being by his side.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
