Mr. Johnny James Gray, age 67 of D'Iberville, MS, died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at his home in D'Iberville. Mr. Gray was a resident of the coast for forty-two years, and served in the U.S. Army for six years. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elsie Gray, brother, Joe Gray, and grandaughter Sabrina Gray. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte A. Gray, D'Iberville, three daughters, Laura Torres, Bastrop, LA, Linda (James) Holifield, D'Iberville, Kathy (Tim) Higgins, D'Iberville, two sons, Johnny Gray Jr., Ocean Springs, Elvis (Sharon) Gray, D'Iberville, two sisters, Mary Garrick, Ocean Springs, Joyce Nell Justice, McHenry, MS, two brothers, Lee Ray Justice and Billy Justice, both of Ocean Springs, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Gray was also survived by a brother-in-law, Jerry Wilson, who was like a son to him, best friends, James Hickman, Tami Kelly, and Vernon Duvall. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm at New Fayard Methodist Cemetery located in the Latimer Community.
