Johnny Murdock

Johnny W. Murdock, USAF Chief Master Sergeant (Ret), age 78, of Biloxi, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN. A Senior Enlisted Advisor of Little Rock Air Force Base at the time of his retirement in 1978 after 30 years of honorable service. Mr. Murdock was preceded in death by his parents, Walker W. and Ada B. Van Pelt Murdock; sister, Elizabeth Belew. Mr. Murdock is survived by his wife of 58 years, Norma Jean Cripps Murdock of Biloxi; daughters, Teresa Kingrey, Akin, SC; Nancy Hasskarl, Lexington, TX; sons, Johnny C. Murdock, Biloxi, MS; David B. Murdock, Apopka, FL; sisters, Frances Miller, Nashville, TN; Connie Evans, Huntsville, AL; brothers, Frank Murdock, Florence, AL; Larry Murdock, Florence, AL; Gary Murdock, Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren; three great-grandsons. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 5, 2007 at 12:30pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.
