Jon Lynn Armstrong

Jon Lynn Armstrong, age 59, of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Jon was born on August 22, 1964 in Smithville, TX. He was a longtime resident of the MS gulf coast. Jon was the most amazing father, grandfather, and friend. He was also known as the tree man as he ran his own tree service and landscaping business for over 40 years. Jon enjoyed playing pool, fishing, boat life, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Jon was proceeded in death by his parents, Collis Armstrong and Dorothy Spain; and siblings, Joe Armstrong and Gordon Armstrong; as well his son, Justin Armstrong.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Lisa Armstrong; children, Christina Claunch and Jonathan Armstrong; daughter-in-law, Linda Armstrong; son-in-law, Skylar Lanier; grandchildren, Justin Roberts, Dylan Claunch, Alyssa Golden, and Raleigh Armstrong; and brothers, Gene Armstrong, Louis Armstrong, Lee Armstrong, and Zane Armstrong.

You will forever be missed daddy and always in our hearts. 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport, MS. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Armstrong family.
