Jon O'Blythe Allen

Jon O'Blythe Allen passed away on April 23, 2008 in Biloxi. Blythe was born March 5, 1952, in Biloxi and was a resident of Ocean Springs at the time of her death. She graduated from Sullivan Central High School, Blountville, Tennessee and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, (Perkinston Campus), the University of Mississippi and received a degree in recreational therapy from the University of South Alabama. During her life, she lived and worked around the world and was able to visit all seven continents. Her last employment was with Norwegian Cruise Lines, serving as systems manager on cruise vessels. She enjoyed traveling, pool and visiting with her numerous friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. Allen, Jr. and Cornelia Marion Allen. Survivors include her brothers, William R. Allen, III and his companion Linda Gilbrecht, David Marion Allen and his wife, Mary Ruth Allen nieces, Marion Allen and Christina Allen, nephew David St. John Allen and cousin Lynn Duncan Munroe.
