Jordan Ray Rafferty, age 7, of Woolmarket died Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in Memphis, TN. Our precious Jordan has gone to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jordan was in the first grade at North Woolmarket Elementary School. He played baseball for the Braves in the Woolmarket League. He also played basketball and enjoyed drawing and riding his four-wheeler. He attended Bel-Aire Baptist Church, Gulfport. Jordan was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Aldridge of Iuka, MS, Dr. and Mrs. William Rafferty of Iuka, MS , W. R. Heflin and Erline Heflin of Gulfport, and Captain Leslie Collins of Gulfport. He is survived by his mother, Natalie Erline Rafferty and Dwight Ladner of Woolmarket; father, John Raymond Rafferty of Long Beach; grandparents, Leslie and Henry Malley of Woolmarket, Tony and Sandy Heflin of Gulfport, Harry and Johnnie Rafferty of Iuka, MS; and great-grandparents, Effie Lois and Russell Thurston of Long Beach; aunts and uncles, Donnie (D) and Desha (Nanna) LaRosa of Woolmarket, Angie McMullen of Gulfport, Roger and Gwen Maggard of Gulfport, Blair Heflin of Gulfport, Tyler Heflin of Gulfport, Ed and Teryl Rafferty of Long Beach, Mike and Frances Spurill of Long Beach, Mary Beth and Pete Kozakiewicz of Franklin, TN, Rebecca and Dennis Mayfield of Long Beach, Charlie and Rachel Gant of Biloxi; cousins, Garrett LaRosa; Jonathan McMullen; Ashleigh Mitchell; Heather, Chris, and Ella Touchstone; Ian, Ashley and Alexie Zizka; Rachael Zizka; A.J. Neyrey; Michael, Candis, and Ethan Spruill; Nicole and Danny Overman; Ben Spruill; Samantha and Derek Kozakiewicz; Jeffrey Ward; Lauren and Stephen Mayfield; Jessica Garrett; Charlie and Alexandria Gant; and Dwight Ladner's family, Katherine Ortiz, Roslyn Ladner, and Charity Ladner and their families. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Bel-Aire Baptist Church in Gulfport where friends may visit from 12 noon until the service. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
