Joseph Norbert Bertucci

Joseph Norbert “Bert” Bertucci, 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Bert was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Ann Bertucci, his son Dale Norbert Bertucci, his parents Loretta Flynn Bertucci and Anthony “Toni” Bertucci, his sisters Rita Salloum, Imelda Oberlies, Noel Anticich, Gloria Jerymn, and Rose Paciera. Bert is survived by his children Beth Myers, Bert (Debra) Bertucci, Joel (Ed) Ferguson, Robert (Jennifer) Bertucci, Alan (Margie) Bertucci and grandchildren Jennifer Myers, David Myers, Robbin Bertucci, Lee (Kim) Ferguson, Lindsey Ferguson, Ashley (Drew) Joslin, Amy (Ryan) Rudolph, Mindy Boyce, Joseph Bertucci, Stephen Bertucci, Michael Bertucci and great grandchildren Georgia Anne Ferguson, Lucas Ferguson, Jax Rudolph, and Maddox Rudolph Bert was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War, II. He was a member of local 568 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. Bert was a devout Catholic and spent much of his time serving others. He loved playing the piano and spending time with family and friends. He served as past President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was active in St. James Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at noon at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport, MS. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society (St. James Catholic Church, 366 Cowan Road, Gulfport, MS 39507).
