Joseph Crockett Parsons

Joseph Crockett Parsons of Biloxi died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Biloxi on the anniversary of his 81st birthday. Mr. Parsons was a member of the Biloxi Elks BPOE Lodge and also a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge in Greenville, MS. He was a very outgoing person who really loved life. He liked to hunt, fish and play cards. Mr. Parsons is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene D. and Dorothy M. Crockett Parsons; brother, Eugene D. Parsons, Jr. of LaPlace, LA. He is survived by his daughters, CeCe (David) Canonici and Betty Jo (Wayne) Ross both of Biloxi, MS; son, Joseph C. (Heather) Parsons, Jr. of Biloxi, MS; seven grandchildren, Danielle Parsons, Chelsea Parsons, Trae Brown, Jason (Stephanie) Canonici, Niki C. (Jeff) Shemper, Wayne (Kelly) Ross, Jr., Kellie Brady; seven great-grandchildren and longtime companion, Charlene Cole. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Southern Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Ave., Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
