Joseph "Joe" Edward Strickland

Joseph "Joe" Strickland, 64, of Biloxi, MS died on Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Biloxi. Mr. Strickland was a lifetime resident of the Gulf Coast. He was a member of Bay Vista Baptist Church. He served in the US Navy, retired from AT&T and was a limo driver for the Grand Casino. Mr. Strickland is preceded in death by his parents, W.W. and Norma Holder Strickland; daughter, Jodi Strickland; brother, Alvin Strickland. He is survived by his wife, Janet "Jan" DeVries Strickland of Biloxi; daughters, Kimberly and Josette Strickland both of Biloxi; sisters, Betty Reneau of Mobile, AL, Elaine Helveston of Saucier, MS, Mary Strickland of Long Beach, MS; brother, Cecil Strickland of Rock Island, TX; one grandchild, Alyssa Strickland of Biloxi and numerous neices and nephews. Visitation is on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services are on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 11:00 am.
