Joseph "Joe" Gregory Williams

Mr. Joseph "Joe" Gregory Williams, age 30, of St. Martin, MS., died Tuesday, August 18, 2009, in Tuscaloosa, AL. Joe graduated from St. Martin High School in 1997, where he excelled in baseball and football. After high school, Joe joined the United States Army and served his country in Iraq during Operation Freedom. After returning home from Iraq, he settled in Tuscaloosa to raise his family and to support his favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide. His greatest joys were his two children, Laila and Ethan, his loving wife, Sabrina, his very large family and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford and Elizabeth Cain of Millbrook, AL. Survivors include his wife, Sabrina, son, Ethan, daughter, Laila, parents, James "Jimmy" and Christine "Chris" Williams of St. Martin, sisters, Patty (Dave) Usry, Amanda Williams and Victoria Williams, brother, Jason Williams, sister-in-law, Stephanie Allmon, grandparents, James "Jim" and Rose Taranto Williams, nephews, Austin, Aiden and Aaron, niece, Brianna, mother and father-in-law, Teresa and Rocky Allmon, and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 22, 2009, from 6-8 PM, with an 8 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to a scholarship account for Ethan and Laila Williams at any Hancock Bank.
