Joseph V. Stachurski

Mr. Joseph V. Stachurski, age 85, of Hattiesburg, MS., died Sunday, February 20, 2005, in Hattiesburg, from complications following a heart attack. Mr. Stachurski was an honorably discharged veteran of WWII, serving campaigns in the Philippines and Japan. He was a retired professor of Biology and Chemistry. Mr. Stachurski is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois Smith Stachurski of Hattiesburg, daughters, Jacqueline Kessler of FL., Joanna Holmes of Wyoming, Odelia Ritzcovan of New York, and Cheryl S. Christopher, sons, Edward Stack and Clyde Redmon of Texas, sister-in-law, Donis Cline of Hattiesburg, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, February 25, 2005, from 10-11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
