Joseph Vincent Wilkins

Mr. Joseph Vincent "Joe" "Big Joe" Wilkins, 22, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, December 18, 2009, in Biloxi. Mr. Wilkins was born May 17, 1987, in Mobile, AL and moved to the coast in 1999. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Mobile, AL. As a baby he was selected by the United Way as the poster child for their organization. He played baseball and football for the little league. Joe was preceded in death by his loving father, W. C. Wilkins; brother, Scott Wilkins; and uncle, Joseph Andrew Perri. He is survived by his wife, Christina Ladner Wilkins; one year old daughter, Nataliegh Ann-Marie Wilkins; loving mother, Fran Perri of Biloxi; devoted grandmother, Paula Perri-Allen of Daphne, AL; brothers, Drew Perri of Daphne, AL, Dominick Perri of Biloxi, Donnie Wilkins of Semmes, AL, and Billy Wilkins of Panarama, CA; sister, Cyndi Manuel and her husband, De, of Semmes, AL, aunts, Velma Wheeler of Mobile, AL, and Gloria Perri and her spouse, Marty Mullany, of Louisville, KY; uncles, Paul Perri of Gulf Shores, AL, Tony Perri and wife, Jan, of Florida, Marco Legroetta (Susan Dikes) of New Orleans, LA, and Ricky Legoretta and Cindy of New York, NY. The family extends their thanks to Jason Collins, Shawna Hover, Stefan and Cathy Demouy, Shavon Fallo, and Trina Wallace for their love and support during this difficult time. Joe will be loved and missed by all who knew him. He was a wonderful son, husband, and father, He will always be in our thoughts and his memory will live on thru his daughter, Nataliegh. Visitation is Monday, December 21, 2009, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi.
