Joseph Earl Weidner

Joseph Earl Weidner, age 51, of D’Iberville, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2012. Joseph was a lifelong resident of D’Iberville and was formerly employed as a security officer with Coast Transit Authority. He graduated and played football for D’Iberville High School. He enjoyed football, fishing and drafting. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Elaine Webb; grandmother, Minnie “Vera” Taylor; grandfather, Tillie Arceneaux; two nephews, Michael Roy Seymour, Jr. and James Michael Hosek. Survivors include: his loving wife, Gail Busby and her three children; daughter Rachel Conway; son, Matt Weidner; brother, Gene Webb; Uncle, James Parrish; four aunts, Floy Bowman, Linda Seymour, Marie Simmons and Pat Parrish; and one grandchild. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m.
