Josephine Mary Mihojevich

Josephine Mary T. Mihojevich, 83, of Ocean Springs passed away on April 17, 2023 in Ocean Springs, MS.

She was a native of Biloxi, MS and proud of her Yugoslavian heritage. She loved “The Point” and loved any and all seafood. She was employed by the Biloxi V.A. for thirty-six years as a dental hygienist. She was involved in her Catholic faither and made it a priority in her life. She enjoyed her retirement by spending time with her mother, family members, and friends.

Josephine “Jo” was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marguerite Mihojevich; and niece, Charlotte Pisarich.

She is survived by her sister, Elmerita (Ray) Pisarich; nephews, Joseph Pisarich and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Pisarich and their son, Wade; nieces, Raechele Pisarich, Mary Jo (Mike) Skelton and their daughter, Mackenzie, Katherine (Chris) Paske and their daughters, Chloe and Claire; fur baby, Edna; and very special friends, Trudy Davis, Carol Mentzer, and JuneAnn Travis, LPN. They ensured her comfort, care, and loved her dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. A reception will be held after at Ocean Springs Knights of Columbus Hall at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
