Mrs. Joyce A. Turner, 79, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Turner was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She and her husband, Lloyd Turner, were owners/operators of TNT Hardware in Biloxi. She was a charter member of Beauvoir United Methodist Church and a member the Order of The Eastern Star, Joppa Shrine. She was an avid bridge player and a member of Sunkist Country Club.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Lee Craney; parents, Archie and Dora DeSilvey; sisters, Madelin Lowd and Margaret Ross; and brothers, Arnold DeSilvey, John DeSilvey, Pat DeSilvey, Archie DeSilvey and Roger DeSilvey. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd L. Turner, Jr.; daughter, Pamela Jean Brock of Shalimar, FL; son, Lloyd L. Turner, III of Biloxi; brother, Neil DeSilvey of Johnson City, TN; and grandchildren; Chris Craney, Matt Craney, Carrie Craney, Stephanie Snow, Jacqueline Brock, and Christine Brock; and great grandchildren, Alexandra Lee Wagner, Kylie Emerad Gonzales, Jackson Cade Angell, Caleb James Anthony Gonzales, Abigail Makenzie Snow and Jozlyn Sydney Snow.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, Biloxi. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
