Joyce Garlotte DeSilvey

Mrs. Joyce Marie Garlotte DeSilvey, age 94, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on September 5, 2021, in Ocean Springs. Joyce was born on December 3, 1926, in Biloxi, MS. She was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. She attended St. John Catholic Church and Blessed Seelos Catholic Church and was a former member of the V.F. W. Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Garlotte and Delta Champagne Garlotte, husband, Rodger M. DeSilvey, son, Arnold DeSilvey and grandson, Robert Rodger Cowart. Survivors include a daughter, Yvonne Bonnie (Bob) Cowart, sister, Wilda Yoast, granddaughter, Leslie Brewer and two great-grandchildren, Sydney Joyce and Zoey Brewer. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 2pm~ 3pm, with a 3pm Chapel Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
