Joyce Faye Hill

Mrs. Joyce Faye Hill, 71, of Biloxi, died Friday, June 5, 2009 in Gresham, Oregon. Mrs. Hill was born on Oct. 21, 1937 in Poplarville, MS to Floyd William & Jewel Edna Lee. She was a life member of the DAV Chapter 5 of Gulfport, a member of the VFW Post #2539, and a member of the Ladies Auxillary Post #119 of the American Legion in Gulfport. She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgis Doyle Hill; her parents; her mother-in law, and four brothers. Survivors include her four daughters, Bridgette Ann Lamey of Tylertown, Mamie Louise Bissonette of Biloxi, Wanda Lois Lamey of Biloxi, and Rose Mary Hudgins of Biloxi; three sons, David William Lamey of Gulfport, Rex Allen Lamey of Saucier, and Ollie Lewis Lamey, III of Ocean Springs; one sister, Lois Larie Lee of Jacksonville, FL; twenty-six grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Howard Ave. Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi with interment following in Biloxi National Cemetery. Friends may visit one hour prior to the services.
