Joycelyn T. Milam, 55, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Mrs. Milam was born on August 08, 1956. She was a native of Greenville, MS, and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for 30 years. She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs and a former volunteer and manager of “The Lord is My Help” also in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Milam is preceded in death by her father, Henry A. Trainor; brother, Jimmy Trainor.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Harvey T. Milam, Sr.; mother, Michelle Coleman; daughter, Hope Alexis Milam and her partner, Delaina James; sons, Harvey T. Milam, Jr., Albert Joseph (Brandi) Milam; sister, Jeanie (Grant) Wright; granddaughter, Emerson Elizabeth Milam and Mrs. Milam’s canine companion, “Chloe”.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
