Joyee Peterman

Joyee Peterman, 88, of Gulfport died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 in Gulfport. Mrs. Peterman was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast and a lifelong member of Nugent United Methodist Church. She started the kindergarten at St. Joseph Catholic Church and taught for many years throughout the Harrison County School System. Mrs. Peterman was preceded in death by her husband, Homan Peterman; a son, Randolph Peterman; a grandson, Christopher Peterman; a brother, Gary Reeves; a sister, Iris Riggs. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbinell Lynch of Gulfport; a son, Homan Pete Peterman of Gulfport; four grandchildren, Anthony Peterman and Michael Peterman, both of Olympia, WA; Joyee Emette Coleman and Josh Peterman, both of Gulfport; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Peterman and Rhian Peterman, both of Olympia, WA. Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Nugent United Methodist Church, Gulfport where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
