Juanita Rawls Morgan passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Azalea Gardens Nursing Home in Wiggins, MS.
Juanita was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Big ridge Baptist Church in D’Iberville, MS for many years. She loved to sing, play the piano, play guitar, sew, garden and cook. She made the best coconut cake ever!
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Morris L. Morgan; son, Tony Morgan; brother, Virgil Rawls; and a sister, Katie Thompson.
Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Morgan (Debbie) of Biloxi and Jessie Morgan (Barbara) of Aiken, SC; grandsons, Benjamin Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Bradley Morgan and Daniel Morgan; sisters, Norma Magee of Tucson, AZ, Virginia Collars of Wiggins, MS, Rachel O’Neal Cooley of Wiggins, MS, Patsy Pannell of Gulfport, MS and Peggy Legate of Point, TX; and brother, Keith Rawls of Big Level, Perkinston, MS.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Big Level Cemetery in Wiggins, MS at 11:00 a.m. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe is in charge of arrangements.
