Juanita Reeves Dupree

Juanita Reeves Dupree, 62, departed this life, Saturday, December 30, 2006, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a long time resident of the coastal community and was born on January 8, 1944 to the late Peter and Mae Reeves of Benndale, MS. Juanita went on to receive her cosmetology license and own her own business prior to working at Ingalls Shipbuilding until 2001, where she retired after 20 years of service. Mrs. Dupree was preceded in death by her husband, Gary H. Dupree. Survivors include her children, Gary (Tabitha) Dupree of Mobile, AL, Greg (Rachel) Dupree and Sterling (Cindy) Dupree both of Vancleave, MS, Cynthia (Tony) Wilks of Mobile, AL, Lyndon (Toni) Dupree of Camden, NC, Benjamin Dupree and Mihranda Dupree both of Vancleave and nine grandchildren. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff of Ascera Care Hospice, the staff, the staff at Gulfport Memorial Hospital and her kind physician, Dr. Todd Moore of Gulfport, MS. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 1, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. On Tuesday, January 2, 2007 there will be a 10:00 a.m. service in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial to follow at the Antioch Cemetery in Vancleave, MS.
