Juanita Ruth Campbell

Mrs. Juanita Ruth Campbell, age 89, of Ocean Springs, MS., died in Bay St. Louis, MS., on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, after a long illness. Mrs. Campbell was a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. Juanita, known as Nita to her friends, was active in the Ocean Springs Women's Club and served a term as its president. She worked for the Ocean Springs School District for a number of years and was also a talented artist. For many years she and her late husband, William H. "Dub" Campbell, Sr., operated the Old Towne antique shop. Survivors include her sons, William H. Campbell, Jr. of Carmel, IN. and Paul M. Campbell of Ocean Springs, two grandchildren and four great-granddaughters. On Monday, May 16, 2011, there will be a 10 am graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
